About the Artist


David L. Hardman the son of Sandra and Ondra Hardman was born in Houston, Texas. Born in 1982, he is the oldest of three children. David was raised in the greater Houston area. While in middle school he found out he was dyslexic, and then was placed in special education courses. David then started to work even harder in school to prove he was normal and he didn't need special education courses to finish school. Several years later David graduated from Willowridge High School with a 3.67 GPA. He finished high school #77 out of 406 in his graduating class. Then after finding out he didn't have the money he needed to go to college out of state for the next year, he went to community college. After a year at Houston Community College David made a deal with his parents so he could go to school in Kansas. Four years later David graduated from Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas where he double majored in Art Studio Major with Concentration in sculpture; Visual Art Administration with concentration in Ceramics and minor in Business. He is now working at Kansas State University at Salina as an admissions representive, and is also an associate minster at St. John's Missionary Baptist Church in Salina, KS.
